My name is Emma, I am the owner and sole baker of the home bakery Baking What Matters
We have been open in 🍒Traverse City, MI🍒 since May 2023. Since the beginning I’ve put in long hours to create all of my recipes from scratch. Starting with just cakes, my menu has expanded fast and continues to grow, adding cake pops, dipped treats, muffins and more. Learning to be a business owner, baker, cake decorator and a mom on top of all of it has been a struggle but a gift at the same time. Everything I do is for my little family and the amount I’ve grown in under two years makes me excited for the years to come. All of the love and support from my customers, friends, and family has been overwhelming and I am so grateful for every one of you! 🤍
